Are you telling me now this is incorrect? - Datacaust 14:21, 24 June 2011 (UTC) The way I came to understand this is, one spell repeatedly cast will not increase after the second cast, while two spells repeatedly cast successively will increase exponentially. Datacaust 14:08, 24 June 2011 (UTC) The introduction is fine and the page does not mention two spells because: one you can do it with one spell and two because the page is also about enchantments. I was just reading through this and noticed that this page doesn't really mention that you need to make TWO spells to stack their effects also it lacks an introduction explaining the concept really. I will leave this to someone with more clout than me. However I'm not sure if it should even change since "spell stacking" has been traditionally what this concept has been called, albeit erroneously. Datacaust 04:37, 19 June 2011 (UTC) I've decided that the most accurate name for this page is Effect Stacking, as that is how I wrote the page. Actual spell stacking is a useful practice come on now. How about just weakness stacking? Or Weakness Amplified Magic could be called WAM for short. I'd move the page on my own if I were sure, but I'd like some evidence of consensus first- Loup-vaillant 14:41, 16 June 2011 (UTC) Overall, I prefer (1) over (2) and (3), but if someone could find an even better alternative, that'd be cool. My current appreciation is that (1) is incomplete, (2) feels convoluted, and (3) is inaccurate. Here are some Ideas (Please add other titles at if you have other ideas): The new one should be short, comprehensive, and accurate. I do mention stacking, but only in passing (it's not very useful in practice).

It is about weakness to magic amplifying itself, and how to exploit that for spells, enchantments, and poisons.

This page isn't about spell nor stacking. I initially named this page (Spell Stacking) after a commonly used term.

It’s safe to say that the job was done as properly as can be, as this mod currently “fixes over 2,500 bugs and 70,000 object placement errors”, as its description reads.Ī must-have mod if you plan to play the game in the 2020s and beyond – even if you don’t want to install any other mods on your game.Finding a better title for this page This mod was made by the community to help fix Oblivion as a whole. However, denying that the game was buggy as hell would be like trying to cover the sun with your thumb. I’m just ranking them lower on my list to raise your attention towards them first – they’ll really help you make other mods on this list work much better. To start off the list, though, I’ve added three mods in my early spots that are actually rated really high by the community. I’ve only added a handful of those, as I really wanted to focus on other types of mods like gameplay changes, new additions, stuff like that. And in this post I’m keen to share my picks for the best Oblivion mods with all you TES fans!īefore I begin, let me just point out that there are many Oblivion mods that tweak certain technical aspects of the game. Oblivion changed my perception of mods and why they can be fantastic additions to a game. And since then, I haven’t been able to play any of my favorite single-player games without mods again. The first time I tried to play Oblivion with mods was back in 2008. Is Oblivion the best Elder Scrolls game ever made? Yes.
